Privacy Policy

This policy explains how Vision Home Remodeling (“we,” “us”) handles personal information collected through this website. It is written to meet the California Online Privacy Protection Act (CalOPPA) and the California Consumer Privacy Act as amended by the CPRA (CCPA).
Notice at collection: what we collect
- Identifiers and contact details you enter: name, phone number, email (optional) and ZIP code.
- Project details: the type of project you are interested in.
- Consent records: the consent wording you agreed to, the date and time, your IP address and browser type, kept as proof of consent to be contacted.
- Internet activity: pages visited, the advertising link you arrived from (UTM and click identifiers), cookies and similar technologies.
We do not knowingly collect sensitive personal information.
How we use it
- To contact you by phone, text or email about your consultation request.
- To send promotional messages, only if you checked the optional marketing box.
- To measure and improve our advertising.
- To keep records required by law and to protect our legal rights.
Calls and text messages
By submitting the form you agree that we may call and text the number you provided about your request, including by automated means. Consent is not a condition of purchase. Message frequency varies. Msg & data rates may apply. Reply STOP to any text to stop texts, or HELP for help. You can also opt out by telling us on a call or emailing info@visionhomeremodeling.com. We honor opt-out requests within a reasonable time. Mobile numbers and text opt-in consent are never shared with third parties for their own marketing.
Marketing emails include an unsubscribe link and our mailing address, and we honor unsubscribe requests within 10 business days.
Who we share it with
- Service providers that host our website and database and deliver our email notifications, bound to use the data only for us.
- Meta (Facebook/Instagram) through the Meta Pixel and Conversions API, to measure our ads. Meta may receive your IP address, browser information, Meta cookie IDs and the fact that you submitted a request. We do not send your name, phone or email to Meta. Under California law this may count as “sharing” for cross-context behavioral advertising.
- Microsoft Clarity, which records how visitors use our pages (clicks, scrolling and mouse movement) as heatmaps and session replays, to improve the site. Form entries are masked. Microsoft may use this data as described in its privacy statement.
- Authorities when required by law.
We do not sell personal information for money, and we do not knowingly sell or share the personal information of anyone under 16.
Cookies, opt-out signals and Do Not Track
We use cookies for site function, Microsoft Clarity and the Meta Pixel. You can opt out of both on our Do Not Sell or Share My Personal Information page. We treat a Global Privacy Control (GPC) browser signal as a valid opt-out and turn off ad tracking automatically. Browsers' older “Do Not Track” setting has no common standard; we rely on GPC instead. Visitors in the EU, EEA, UK and Switzerland are not tracked.
How long we keep it
We keep consultation requests and consent records for up to 5 years after our last contact with you, to serve you and to show proof of consent, then delete them. Records may be kept longer if needed for a legal claim.
Your California privacy rights
California residents may:
- Know what personal information we collect, use and share.
- Get a copy of it, correct it, or ask us to delete it.
- Opt out of sale or sharing.
- Not be treated differently for using these rights.
To make a request, email info@visionhomeremodeling.com or call us. We will confirm receipt within 10 business days and respond within 45 days. We may need to verify your identity. You may use an authorized agent with your signed permission.
Security
We use reasonable safeguards, including encrypted connections and restricted access to our database. No system is perfectly secure.
Children
This website is not directed to children under 13 and we do not knowingly collect their data.
